Carmo Church was built during the 18th century and is called as Igreja do Carmo. Some of the remarkable parts of the church are the outside section where there are the imposing façade and the twin bell towers of the church. The inside section of the church is dominated by Algarvean Baroque style. There are also paintings, decorations and religious statuary designed on the church walls.
