Faro Archaeological Museum is a history museum in Faro. The construction of this amazing museum started in 1519. This museum was inaugurated in 1894 to celebrate the birth of Henry, the navigator. The museum has some of the archaeological finds and has paintings from the 16th to the 17th centuries, and which are religious pieces which once belonged to different temples of Algarve.
