Avenida de Arriaga is the main shopping street of Funchal and towards the west of the street; one can find the Wine Lodge of Blundy over here. There are also shops like specialty outlets, good restaurants and the Marine Shopping center. Moreover, there is also a garden which is lush and shady where one can enjoy a drink and relax. To the East side, there are the Marcado dos Lavradores with its costumed flower and fruit sellers.
