Belem is situated by the river and heads towards the west from central part of Lisbon. It is seen on the way to Estoril and Cascais. There are a lot of things to see in Belem. One can also spend the whole day exploring Belem. Some of the historic area to explore are the Torre de Belem, the Monastery and the Pasteis de Belem. There are also the Centro Cultural and the Padrao dos Descobrimentos to look for.
