The museum mainly exhibits the historical journey of communication and transport. The museum features several permanent exhibitions and some temporary exhibitions.
"The Vehicle in Space and Time" is one of the permanent exhibitions, which is visited most often.
The "Communicating Science and Imagination" is a permanent exhibition dealing exclusively with communication science. This is an ideal place to get information about the progress in the field of communication and transportation.
This museum was inaugurated in December 2000. Since then, it has been a favorite tourist spot in Porto.
The museum remains open from 10 am to 6 pm on Tuesday through Friday. On Sunday, Saturday and holidays it remains open from 3 pm to 7 pm.
