There are blue telescopes provided at the waterfront to take a wonderful view of the city. There are also a number of bars and restaurants along the river side in the Ribeira area.
Porto is known for its excellent quality of sweet wine from the Douro region which is full of vineyards. The doors of the houses in Ribeira are small and a huge person may have difficulty while passing through them.
There are several fast food places and open door cafes at Foz where one can drink and enjoy the sea view.
Porto being the 2nd main city in Portugal has everything one can ask for in terms of health service, education, good nightlife, excellent food and drink and easy connectivity with other cities.
