Porto Formoso is parish in the Ribeira Grande in the Azores spread in an area of 11.46 square kilometers. This parish has a school, a square and even a lyceum. It is involved in tea production. Porto Formoso is also the best place to relax from the hustle bustle city life with family. Porto Formoso is also known as Moinhos and one can visit the Porto Formoso Tea Factory which was founded between 1920’s and 1980’s.
