Tourist Guide Troia
Troia can be reached from Setubal by ferry and is a narrow sand strip almost 47 kilometers to the south of Lisbon. This is a holiday village having high rise buildings which are visible from faraway places. Situated at the northern tip of the Penninsula de Troia, to the southwest of Setubal, one can visit the place for the Roman ruins of Cetobriga, on the estuary side of the promontory. The main visible features include fish salting tanks, tombs, port buildings and even baths having mosaic and marble lining traces.
