Brasov is a place where the locals and travelers can enjoy a relatively cheap shopping spree. Shops like Aladin, Artizana and Artizanat are known for crafts work such as painted or beaded eggs, embroidered clothing and linen, woodcarvings, interesting gifts, carpets and souvenirs. There are shops located near the tourist centers that sell magnificent embroidery work on wood, leather and cotton. The visitors can also shop for exotic coats, rugs, tablecloths, blouses, skirts and lacework in those areas. The street shops have earned a reputation for selling outstanding paint work on glass and wood.
