The Peter and Paul Cathedral are located in St. Petersburg, Russia. It is the first and oldest landmark in St.Petersburg which was built in 1712 and 1733. It was designed by Domenico Trezzini. The cathedral’s bell is the tallest Orthodox bell tower.
It is the largest Orthodox Church in the world. This Cathedral is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul. The cathedral’s architecture also features a unique iconostasis. It was closed in 1919 and was open as a museum to all in 1924. Its design is beautifully carved and is a place of attraction for all tourists.
