St. Isaac's Cathedral was originally the main church of the city of St. Petersburg and also the largest cathedral. Built between 1818 and 1858, it was designed by French born architect, Auguste Montferrand. This historic building is considered as one of the most impressive landmarks of the Russian Imperial Capital.  It also boasts impressive interiors and façade.
