The TV Tower of Saint Petersburg, Russia is a well known icon of the city. With 310 meter height, this tower is built with lattice steel. It was constructed in the year 1962 and is known as the first ever dedicated TV tower in the entire Soviet Union. The tower is used for both FM as well as TV broadcasting. The tower also features an observation platform located at 191m height. The Saint Petersburg TV tower is situated at 3 Ulitsa Akademika Pavlova. The nearest metro station to the TV tower is Petrogradskaya. A must see for the visitors for its grandeur and massive structure.
