Kalemegdan is a beautiful fortress and also a park situated in the urban neighborhood of Belgrade in Serbia. This historic building was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1979. It dates back to the first century AD, when it used to serve as a permanent Roman military camp. There are tours scheduled for tourists to know more about Kalemegdan.
