On the South East side of Fruska Gora is Grgeteg Monastery, close by the village of Neradin. Just outside the village is the most delightful restaurant in Vojvodina, Perkov Salas!!!
It is a partly open air restaurant, where you get as much food as you can eat, the most wonderful welcome and can sleep of your over indulgence under the walnut tree. The dining room is in an old farm building, tastefully hung with the tools and textiles of the region.
Nikola will welcome you and tell you all about Serbian culture, in Serbian, maybe his English speaking son will be there, and Melica cooks and pours. The views are wonderful and you are surrounded by fields.
