Subotican buildings are built in an art nouveau style. The famous buildings in the city are the City hall and the Synagogue which exhibit the charming beauty of the art nouveau style. The city hall was built in the mid of 1908 and 1910 and the Synagogue was made in 1902. These two buildings were constructed by the same architects, Dezso Jakab and Marcell Komor. The city’s Artistic Encounter building is an example of outstanding beauty of art nouveau style.
