This beautiful town is one of the most romantic spots in the world and ideal for honeymooners. It is also well known for its healing spas and thermal springs. Bled also offers plenty of activities for the adventurous including hiking, mountain biking, rafting and skiing.
The Bled Castle is a picturesque red and white castle that is perched high on the rocks in the northern part of the town. It also houses a little museum that has some fascinating exhibits on Bled’s history and culture.
There is a small church on an island in Lake Bled that dates back to the tenth century. There are special boats called Pletna that ferry visitors to and fro. Many newlyweds flock to ring the church bell and pray for a happily married life.
The Triglav National Park is a beautiful expanse of lush tress, blue waters and deep gorges. Many visitors come here to experience its beauty and the excellent hiking opportunities that it offers.
