Bled Lake, in Bled city, is the most appreciated tourist destination in Slovenia.
What tourists like of Bled is its natural beauty and its marvellous and romantic lake: a little nice island arises in the centre of Bled Lake, which can be reached by a traditional wooden boat.
After the romantic sail on Bled Lake you can go and visit the Church of Mary’s Assumption and take a walk up the stone staircase. In the Church there's a place where you can make a wish: the wishing bell, built in honour of a young widow.
Near Bled Lake you can visit the Bled Castle, upon a cliff with a wonderful view over the lake. The Castle, which is the oldest in Slovenia, hosts now a restaurant and a museum.
In the museum you can find lots of objects describing the history of Bled and its surrounding.
Bled Lake offers nice public beaches where you can relax and sunbathe and, during the summer, you can have a bath in the Lake's pleasant and cool water.
