In the year 1948, after the Second World War, the new town of Nova Gorica was established. It was formed after signing the ‘Paris Peace Treaty’. A garden full of red roses decorated the heart of the Nova Gorica city. People believe that the roses and gardens indicate the symbol of youth. The climate over here has a Mediterranean influence. Thus, winters will be mild but bright and sunny. This makes the region more amiable and charming.
