Sveta Gora is a holy mountain opposite the Kostanjevica Hill and north of Nova Gorica. The mountain has a height of almost 682m. For the past 450 years, pilgrims arrive here. The mountain provides an exceptional view of the city. On a fine, clear day; visitors can view up to Istria, Dolomites, Venice, Julian Alps and Kamnik. A museum and a Franciscan monastery are also present at the top of the mountain.
