The Alhambra the most famous monument was listed under the World Heritage Sites list of the UNESCO and is one most the place which attracts the maximum number of tourist visiting Spain. The Magic Festival Hocus Pocus, Music and Dance International Festival, the Tango Festival and the Jazz Festival are few famous fests hosted in this city. Granada cuisines served are very traditional and authentic and rich in nature. There a numerous amount of eating joints and bars in this city where specialty dishes like migas, remojón and many others ... More are relished. This city besides the monuments, have museums, gardens, monastery and Royal Chapel as well. The city of Granada has lot to offer, from architectural arts to historical buildings to religious monuments. Arab baths and spas are also famous in this town which is a great art of relaxation.

Best Period to Go: Autumn and winter are the best seasons to Andalusia. Instead of sweltering heat you have mild temperatures during the day. But be careful with the temperature difference at night, especially at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, where the temperature drops by a lot. Granada is beautiful and lively, but at the same time not too touristy and it keeps a very human scale. Wonderful.

Shopping and Souvenirs: It's definitely better to focus on traditional craft from the little shops that are reminiscent of oriental bazaars: they are really fascinating. The prices are great! Also food prices, you eat well and spend little. It's better to aim for restaurants that do tapas ... it's really delicious!

Not to miss: Don't miss tapas in Granada! For every drink you order many bars and restaurants give you free tapas. Check out these places: - Los Diamantes on Calle Navas: they offer some amazing fried fish tapas. - Bodegas Castañeda on Calle de Almireceros: great cold cuts and wines - Restaurante Los Altramuces in Campo del Principe: big tapas portions in beautiful surroundings.

Not to miss:  Granada can be hot in the high season, Spring and Fall are both excellent times to visit.
The “Alhambra” is one of the most relics in Spain, is a UNESCO national heritage site. It is a beautiful Moorish citadel, divided into four main areas: the “Palaces” , the “Alcazaba” (the military zone), the “Medina” (the city) and the beautiful garden of the “Generalife” . Don’t forget to stroll the streets of the “Albaicin” , the old Arabic quarter.
This site was a palace, a fortress and the home of the “Nasrid sultans”; other buildings belonging to a different period ... More are the “Palace of Charles V” in Renaissance style, which houses the “Alhambra Museum” and the “Fine Art Museum” .
In Granada you can also visit the “Parque de la Ciencias” , the “House Museum Federico Garcia Lorca”, the Granada Cathedral built in 15th century, and the “Museo de Bellas Artes” .
The local cuisine is influenced by the “Moroccan kitchen” . Granada is notable as most of its millions of bars will serve free “tapas” with each drink.
The climate in Granada is Mediterranean with cold Winter and rainfalls and hot and humid Summer.
