In the autonomous region of Andalusia in southwestern Spain, Huelva is the capital of the Huelva province. The rivers Rio Tinto and Odiel converge in this city which is situated along the Gulf of Cadiz coast.
The population of this place was 0.145 million as per the 2005 census.
The climate of Huelva is equable and mild and the soil is fertile.
The culture of this city is marked by a prosperous flamenco music. The popular traditional music in this place is “Flamenco” which is played live in cafes, bars and can be heard at several venues.
The Gran Teatro (the Opera / Theatre) has many plays and concerts all year long.
We have always called Huelva "Hellhole", and a second visit confirms our fears. Apart from the Columbus trail, there is nothing except industrialisation.
