La Vinuela Lake is set in Axarquia, in the beautiful landscape in Malaga. This lake is named after the white village having the same name. It’s a very popular destination for those who would like to enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Andalusia. This man-made reservoir creates a picturesque landscape and is a glorious rural locale. It also provides boating activities in non-motorized boats.
It is an ideal place for family outing, away from the busy city/party life and is situated in a majestic backdrop of the mountains. Many can find picnic areas here with barbeque facilities, giving the best view of placid water to the visitors. Nearby to the lake, there is a campsite too, for those who would like to spend an overnight stay in this amazing wilderness. Once here, one can see pine trees giving one a feeling of being at one with the Mother Nature. Moreover, the place is a perfect habitat for many different bird species.
