Plaza Charco is a beautiful plaza square lined with cafes and restaurants. The old town of Puerto de la Cruz is centered at this beautiful square which is totally surrounded by the ancient buildings. Towards the west of the square, there are some best duty free shopping opportunities on the island amongst the maze of the streets. There are also stores which sell great deal of electronic products and alcohol products near the square.
