The San Andres Church in Seville was first built in the 15th century and was originally founded by the Los Panaderos (bakers) brotherhood.  The church was completely renovated in the 18th century and houses valuable paintings, including the Aparicion de la Virgen a San Bernando (Appearances of the Virgin Mary to Saint Bernard) by Juan de Roelas and a series of the Mysteries of the Roasry by Valdes Leal.

The church also has paintings by Pedro Roldan, Alonso Vazquez and engracings by Gaspar Nunez Delgado.  The church is also home to the Brotherhood of Santa Maria, which marks its season of penitence to the Holy Cathedral in the evening of Easter Monday during Holy Week in Seville.  Definetely worth the trip if you are in the area.

San Andres Church is located on the Plaza de San Andres and is open 7:00pm to 7:30am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8:30pm to 9:00pm Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Guided tours are available upon request.  For more information, contact +34 954 23 4465.
