Located to the northeast of the city center and in the Santa Catalina district, the Jardines del Valle in Seville was first developed from the vegetable gardens of an old monastery. A well-preserved stretch of the Almohad City Wall with three towers can be found at the garden.
Visitors can also check out different plant species of the garden, including locust trees, lemon, plum, and oranges. The garden’s claim to fame is a copy of a Red Eucalyptus tree from Australia which can reach up to 60 meters high.
Although not as prestigious as the Parque de Maria Luisa or the Alcazar Gardens, if you are in the area, its worth a shot to stop by, and not just for a moment.
