Church of San Julian de los Prados has obtained the designation of ‘World Heritage Site’ in UNESCO listings. It is in ‘pre-Romanesque’ style; had been built from 812 to 842. The basic purpose was that of honoring martyrs Basilisa and Julian. They had been married couple retired in to ‘monastic life’. Building’s roof consists of wood.
