Calvia can be described as a municipality located on island of ‘Majorca’, that happens to adjoin suburbs of ‘Palma’, i.e. capital of Spanish sutonomous community of Balearic Islands.
Calvia basically comprises of 4 sport ports and 14 beaches. Proximity of ‘Palma’ with main road connections goes on to mean that one can reach city centere within 15 minutes (from Palma).
It has been reported that around 1.6 million people pay a visit to this place every year. Calvia is amongst the richest municipalities all over Europe. There also happens to be large inflow of penny in to property from Germany, Britain, and Russia, in particular.
In early 1960s, the city of Calvia started constructing infrastructure to make ways for extensive tourism; like fast construction of ‘hotels’. Thereafter, additional tourist features got added that were inclusive of 4 professional golf courses.
Calvia is known to have a stable, mild climate.
