Cafe Del Mar
Cafe Del Mar is translated as “coffee by the sea” and is a bar situated in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza. This place is well known for its sunsets and chill out music.
Founded by Ramon Guiral, Jose Les and Carlos Andrea in 1980, the place was designed by Lluis Guell, a Catalan architect. This designer was totally in charge of the decoration, architecture and design of the bar.
The place is exceptionally known worldwide for its musical compilations, with the songs being of Balearic ambient and easy to listen to. The collections were first sold on cassettes at the end of 1980s. Then, in 1994, the first official CD, Cafe del Mar, was released, which included works by world renowned artists.
