Elvissa Castle is known as Dalt Vila, meaning high towers in Ibiza.  This is a historic building where one needs to wear good walking shoes, as it’s the best way to explore this castle. The streets are small, winding, narrow and made of cobble stones that surround this historic building.

The castle's sheer size can be appreciated once one enters inside the rooms, which are still being discovered, full of historical interest to all. Even inside the castle, one can see small cafes, small artifact shops and stores and amazing architectural work on the castle.  On reaching the top of this site, one can see the magnificent view of the entire town and the sea is beautiful especially at sunset.

Just outside this castle are various gift shops and street markets from where one can buy a souvenir to take home. These shops are outside the entrance of the castle, selling local crafts. The castle is of 16th century built up a steep slope.
