Majorca, also called as Mallorca, is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea.

Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is approximately 1400 square miles in size.

It enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters. The island's population is 750,000.

Tourism and Farming are the chief economic activities of Majorca. Agricultural products include almonds, figs, olives, lemons, oranges and wine.

If you find your way to the island’s pubs and restaurants you will be treated to the most popular dish ‘paella’ which consists of fish, chicken and vegetables combined with rice.  

It has culture, history and beauty in abundance, and is also well endowed with pubs, high-rises and fish’n’chip shops.
