Visit the bays off the beaten track, with a rental car or motorbike. Walk around Mahon, the capital, in the evening. The shops are open late, buy shoes and clothes because they are very affordable and of good quality. The best time is definitely from 20th to 30th June, up to 10th July.

THE SEA IS WONDERFUL AND IT'S DIFFERENT FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. THE NATURE IS BEAUTIFUL AND YOU CAN DISCOVER UNSPOILT PLACES. I RECOMMEND RENTING A CAR OR MOTORBIKE TO SEE IT ALL. A HOLIDAY DEDICATED TO THE SEA, NATURE AND DISCOVERING NEW VIEWS. TAKE COMFORTABLE SHOES, AND IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE CROWDS, GET UP EARLY IN THE MORNING TO GO TO THE MOST FAMOUS BEACHES.

In July the climate is very pleasant, hot but not too hot during the day and cool at night. It rarely rains, and although it's at the latitude of Sardinia, it's much cooler and less windy. Sure, Sardinia is more diverse and easier to get to. The sea water is warm and tranquil, thanks to the deep coastal inlets.

I ate fish every night ... it was quality and cheap! Always eat local food to appreciate their culture. They are very friendly and polite with the customer. Perhaps the only flaw is that the menu is rarely found in Italian and it isn't always easy to figure out what to order!

Menorca is a very beautiful island of the Balearic Islands, there are a lot of beautiful bays where you can swim and sunbathe, you can practice a lo of sports, depending on the area in which you are located. The city is very nice to visit, and also the village of Binibeca.

There are beautiful beaches and coves! You must rent a car to see as much as possible. You'll find untouched nature, intense greens and blues. There is plenty of space, the people are pleasant. It isn't too expensive. The public transport is efficient. It's calm and safe. The trips organized by hotels or tourist information centres are good too. There are several supermarkets where you can buy food or cold drinks.

I recommend booking a hotel in town and renting a car, and visiting different coves every day, having lunch and dinner at different places. To the north are the wild beaches with dark sand and rocks, while to the south there are quieter coves, with white sand. Sleeping in the city will allow you to spend pleasant evenings in the bars and restaurants of the port, without the need to travel by car.

Menorca is the island of well-being, mild climate and peace. In Menorca you are completely immersed in protected nature, it has beautiful beaches and coves, lush vegetation, many species of animals. You can get around by foot(you can do the perimeter through the Cami de cavalls), cycling, or swimming. You'll find continuously varying landscapes and wild places.

The island is home to some of the most magnificent stone monuments which serve as reminders of prehistoric human activity. One of the most popular attractions is Mahon, the capital city.
The capital city, with its ancient Georgian architecture and natural harbours, is home to some of the best hotels and cafes in Minorca. Naveta dels Tudons, popularly known as the ‘Cathedral of Prehistoric Times’, is another popular tourist spot.
Son Bou offers a breathtaking view of the city along with an exciting nightlife. Arenal d’en Castell, which offers its visitors plenty ... More of water sports facilities, is also popular. Cala Blanca and Cala Galdana are the other two popular spots.
Mare de Deu de Gracia, San Luis Equine Fiesta and Saint Joan Festival are the most important events celebrated throughout the island. While vacationing in Minorca, be sure to visit Fornells, the fishing village of the island, which is famous for its exotic seafood restaurants.

Minorca is an island located in Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. Minorca, a part of the Balearic Islands, is divided into two parts, north and south. This beautiful island has a total population of around 82,000 inhabitants.
The island has an ideal Mediterranean climate, characterised by warm temperatures. The island is permanently cooled by the north wind. The best time to visit Minorca is from May to October.
During the War of Spanish Succession, Minorca came under the British rule. During this period, Mao was termed as the capital and a naval base was established. ... More The island was finally given back to Spain in 1802 under the Treaty of Amiens.

The culture of Minorca is a blend of British, French and Spanish influences. Craftsmanship including pottery, shoe-making and jewellery are important cultural elements.

Fantastic for a relaxed family holiday with lovely safe beaches... No where too far from anywhere else; easy to drive around, good shopping, nice food, very easy to self cater... Short flights from the UK. Always feel safe wherever you go.
