The capital city, with its ancient Georgian architecture and natural harbours, is home to some of the best hotels and cafes in Minorca. Naveta dels Tudons, popularly known as the ‘Cathedral of Prehistoric Times’, is another popular tourist spot.

Son Bou offers a breathtaking view of the city along with an exciting nightlife. Arenal den Castell, which offers its visitors plenty of water sports facilities, is also popular. Cala Blanca and Cala Galdana are the other two popular spots.

Mare de Deu de Gracia, San Luis Equine Fiesta and Saint Joan Festival are the most important events celebrated throughout the island. While vacationing in Minorca, be sure to visit Fornells, the fishing village of the island, which is famous for its exotic seafood restaurants.
