The Bellver Castle is a beautiful circular castle situated on a hill near to Palma de Mallorca city. It is on the Island of Majorca in Balearic Islands. Built in the 14th century for King James II of Aragon, it was used once as a military prison during the 18th and the 19th centuries. At present, it is considered as one of the major tourist attractions of the island.
