Overall Guide: The Guggenheim Museum was the reason for my trip to Bilbao and I wasn't disappointed. I recommend the Gran Domine Bilbao Hotel, right in front of the museum. Breakfast on the terrace is spectacular.

Overall Guide: I would highly recommend a visit to the Guggenheim Museum of Contemporary Art. Although this museum has been severely criticized by contemporary architects, it's filled with many unusual works. Therefore I recommend it to all those who don't like to see the usual paintings and marble sculptures, but prefer BALLOONS AND MAZES (I swear that they have them!)

Overall Guide:  Bilbao has many attractions for the many visitors who come to experience its delights every year. In summers, open air concerts are held at the Kiosko del Arenal El Arenal Parque. Going for a leisurely stroll along the banks of the river Nervión and the streets of the Casco Viejo allows visitors to soak in the sights and sounds of this wonderful city. There are many opportunities for shopping at the Mercado de la Rivera, one of the largest covered markets in Europe.
Bilbao is also home to the spectacular Guggenheim Museum and the Fine Arts Museum. These wonderful museums ... More provide visitors with a fascinating glimpse of the history, culture and arts of this region. The Maritime Museum is another major tourist attraction.
The Basílica de Begoña is one of the most symbolic religious buildings in Bilbao and was built in the sixteenth century. The Teatro Arriaga is a magnificent theatre hall that has been painstakingly restored and should not be missed.
