Being one of Spain’s leading cities, Bilbao has a lively nightlife.
The locals just love to party as the city has everything from trendy music bars to world-class opera.
Calle Licenciado Poza is the best place for tapas bars while Calle Pozas and Calle Barrencalle are known for all kind of bars, bodegas and tascas.
After enjoying a drink or two, the visitors can visit Calle Buenos Aires 5, Disco-Pub Cristal, El Palladium and Calle Iparraguirre 11.
Along with Tapas bars, the city bars also offer ‘Poteo’ which involves small glasses of wines known as ‘potes’.
The Licenciado Pozas and the Casco Viejo old quarter are best for this kind of excursion.
One can also try Iruna, a Moorish style bar.
There are several music bars and clubs which stay open till 4am.
The Cotton Club and Indautxu area is considered to be among the hottest venues in town.
