Tourist Guide Grand Canary
Grand Canary is the main island amongst the group of Canary Islands. It is situated towards the southeast of Tenerife Island in the Atlantic Ocean. The distance from the northwest coast of Africa is 210 KMS.
As per the 2005 census, the population of this island was 0.82 million.
The climate of this place is perpetually sunny and lovely. There is scarce rainfall. During summer, the temperature is approximately 26 degrees Celsius and in winter it is around 22 degrees Celsius.
The society is made of predominantly Spanish people along with some minority groups and a large number of English individuals.
