General opinion:  Las Palmas de Gran Canaria which is also known as Las Palmas and also one of the ninth largest capital situated in Spain, it offers a various selection of cinema, theater, concerts, opera, dance performances and visual arts. Playa de Las Canteras its one of the most famous beaches, the complete exotic beach experience, surrounded to it is souvenir stores, cafeterias, bars and restaurants, the beach is also been appreciated for its environmental management and it’s also worn by surfers, one of the cleanest beaches one would ever visit and an amazing weather add more to its beauty, this place is ... More perfect for, paddling, swimming, as well for kids spotting small sea animals and snorkeling. Canarian Museum was founded in 1879 for the origins of all types of living creatures and it studies of Canary Islands its really interesting and impressive display which is no doubt worth visiting. Doramas Park, the park is famous for the biggest pool where in you can spot various amazing and colorful fishes.

General opinion:  Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the capital city of Gran Canaria, Spain. A part of the Canary Islands, the city is situated in the Atlantic Ocean along the north-western coast of Africa. The city has a total population of around 377,000 inhabitants.
The city enjoys an ideal Mediterranean climate, characterised by sunny days and very little rainfall. The period from July to August is the best time to visit the city. The city is said to enjoy the best climate in the world.
Founded in 1478, the city was initially known as ‘Real de Las Palmas’. In 1942, Christopher ... More Columbus stopped on the island on his very first trip to America. Today, the city houses a museum named after him, the Casa Colon.
Tourism is one of the main sectors in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Businesses, fishing and trade also account for a large portion of the economy.
