Situated between Maspalomas and San Agustin, Playa del Ingles is home to an 8 km beach, one of the city’s finest tourist attractions. The beach houses several sports centres, providing plenty of water sports activities.
The neighbouring village of Maspalomas is a major tourist centre with its wide range of entertainment options, including an Aqua Park. The city also houses a number of amusement parks like the Palmitos Park, Holiday World and Mundo Aborigen.
The Yumbo Centre in Playa del Ingles houses a large number of gay bars and pubs. It is home to an exciting nightlife, with an amazing array of discos, pubs, bars and a late night amusement park.
The city of Playa Del Ingles hosts a large number of fiestas and celebrations. Some of the most popular events include the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival, celebrated by locals and tourists from all over Gran Canaria.
