Tourist Guide Santillana del Mar
Santillana del Mar is a historic city in Cantabria, Spain. This city is worth visiting for its Altamira Caves and many of the historic buildings, which attract millions of tourists each year.
Legend has it that the town was also named as the Town of Three Lies, as it is neither a Saint not a flat and has no sea too, as the name implies. But, this name derives from Santa Juliana, whose remains are still kept preserved in the Colegiata, a Romanesque church.
