Cathedral de Toledo is considered as one of the most imposing cathedrals in Spain and is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. This historic building is also known as the cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo and Primate Cathedral of Toledo. This church is also the seat of the Archdiocese of Toledo and is one of the three 13th century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Its construction began in the year 1226 and was built with white stone from Olihuelas, close to Toledo.
