The Museo el Greco in Toledo has works of Domenikos Theokopoulos. It was founded as a museum in order to collect unappreciated works by the artists and to reflect how the prehistoric people lived. This museum was built on the foundation of a former house of a 16th century palace in Juderia Toledana. The building itself dates back to early 12th century. The museum has been renovated many times.
