This is situated on the outskirts of the city and is a royal monastery made by Alfonso VIII in 1180. It is designed in the Gothic and Byzantine styles of architecture. It has a modern entrance and enormous columns in the interior. It has beautiful cloisters with semi-circular arches and delicate columns. The life like statue of St. Bruno in this monastery is one of the treasures and is carved out of wood.
