The National Art Museum of Catalonia was open for public in 1995 with the Romanesque art section. This is a museum of Catalan visual art and is housed in the Palau Nacional. It was built for the 1929 World’s Fair. The museum was created in 1990 when the Catalonian Museum Law declared it as the national museum. The renewed museum has various collections from the 19th and the 20th collections of art.
