The genius of Picasso is revealed through the more than 3,800 works displaied in the permanent collection.
Picasso Museum is situated at Montcada 15-23, 08003 Barcelona. It is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10AM to 8PM. Except for holiday, it is closed on Mondays.
The museum stands as a prime reference for understanding the life and works of world-famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso. More than 3800 artworks reveal and help one understand the formative years of this talented individual.
The prime exhibition at the museum is ‘Picasso and his collection’. It consists of more than a hundred personal artworks collected by Picasso. A number of small and temporary exhibitions are also held by the museum which helps the understanding of specific aspects of Picasso’s life and his artistic passion.
Guided tours are available for all such exhibitions. Besides the fixed exhibitions, there are a couple of touring exhibitions. The museum also specializes in conducting social events such as seminars and workshops.
