The nightlife in Barcelona has a good clubbing and live music scene.

Barcelona has variety of clubs and offers different music styles. The city is also famous for its Latin clubs with their samba, merengue, salsa and other trendy beats.

Cafes, bars, clubs and discotheques are located in the surrounding area of Avd. Diagonal that lies between Calle Aribau and Calle Pau Claris.

The Plaça Francesc Macià is a venue where a more reputed and top-class range of night spots can be found.

Calle Muntaner and Calle Aribau are transformed into lively hang-out places at night. There are dance and music venues in the area of Avd. del Tibidabo, which offers a more relaxed atmosphere and are popular in the summer.

The Poble Espanyol located on Montjuïc offers a remarkable setting for one of the most exclusive night spots.

The Olympic Village is another venue that offers a good selection of discotheques and bars. Most of the discotheques tend to remain open between 11pm to 1am.
