The Boqueria Market as it is known at present has been through lots of phases of life. This market was born as a traveling market and placed in the Ramblas of Barcelona. The market was set in the best place in order to attract the large number of passersby and the local inhabitants. In the year 1914, the market was inaugurated with the metal roof and from there it modernized and improved.
