The Palace de la Musica Catalana was built between 1905 and 1908 by architect, Lluis Domenech I Montaner. This was built as a headquarters for the Orfeo Catala and constitutes a symbolic and a sentimental heritage of the city which identifies with its history. The theater opened in 1908 and is considered as one of the most representative buildings of Catalan Modernist style.
