Planning your trip and being on a shoestring, well, in Barcelona you'll find very good deals to check out when you get there! The Tourist Office is your first port of call; they're full of flyers for free and discounted events and, as Barcelona is a happening city, you'll be sure to find your perfect venue for your time there!
Round BARRI GOTHIC, from July to September, tourist offices' representatives are spread all over there from 10 am till 8pm to give you advice on the spot! The main Tourist Office is in Placa Catalunya, there's multilingual advice and you can get discounts and passes for the city. There are reduction around 4/5 euros on the main sights such as La Sagrada Familia, Museu Picasso, the Cathedral of Barcelona (which is free on some days), the MCBA (Modern art Museum) or still the Chocolate Museum... Then you can get the Barcelona Card that will get you touring the city on discounts! All city museums, remeber, are free on the first sunday of each month, except the City History Museum which is free on the afternoon of the first Saturday of each month so be sure to make the most of it!
