Lloret de Mar, with the passage of time, has become a dynamic town; thereby drawing loads of visitors throughout the year. It’s, in fact, considered to be a meeting place with regards to diverse cultures. Traditional customs have, however, still been retained.
Lloret de Mar lies in one of the privileged settings on Costa Brava within southern ‘European Mediterranean’. Situated at the distance of 75 Km with regards to Barcelona, 100 Km with respect to France, and 30 Km with respect to Girona, this town witnesses excellent air, sea, and land communications. Its coastline consists of 7 Km. Coves and beaches of Lloret have been recipients of EU blue flag; along with Spanish Tourism System ‘Q’ grade.
The population as of the year 2008 was found to be 37734.
