This is the main beach which lies in the centre of a resort and has an attractive horseshoe shaped bay which is dominated by ancient defense towers. Platja Gran is a huge sandy beach which offers a range of water sports facilities in the summer. There are numerous bars, restaurants, public toilets and showers along with Red Cross aid programs available.
